Dive with tiger sharks in Fuvahmulah

One of the very few places in the world where you can dive with tiger sharks all year round, at only 8–12 metres.

  • 8–12 m deep
  • All year round
  • Tiger sharks of 3–5 m
  • Full briefing and experienced guides

The tiger shark dive

Face to face at Tiger Garden

Our tiger shark dive takes place at Tiger Garden, a shallow site a short boat ride from the harbour. The bottom is sand and rubble at around 8–12 metres, so there is plenty of light and enough bottom time to enjoy the encounter.

Everything starts with a full briefing on shark behaviour, signals and positions. Underwater the group settles close to the guide and simply watches: tiger sharks of three to five metres approach, turn and pass, often within a few metres.
